I Will Wait

There is a lot going on with me lately and somehow managing the blog and my college work gets on my nerves, quite often. And very much reflects in my behavior. Well, I cannot complain because this is something that I love doing. THIS keeps me going.

And while talking about this, Collaboration is something that is one of the few things that comes in my head.
It's always great to receive beautiful products from these lovely brands and people around who very much look forward to how I would execute the task.

Needless to say, I try my best. But sometimes thinking about the time crunch, I wonder if I could do better if I had more time on my hands for everything.
Well, I have been thinking about my weak points and flaws that I need to work on. And I will end the serious discussion here with the promise of improving on them. Because I know that will  make me even more content with I do. :)

Another collaboration, with Stylholic, has been a pleasant one.
I must mention that the people at Stylholic are really adorable, and receiving the package was the best part.  A note with a personal message was a delightful surprise! It really was!
Their Style Team picked up this beauteous Floral Print Blazer along with this uber-chic Skort.
Talking about the products, the material used for the blazer is so comfortable and soft! I couldn't stop admiring it! I still can't. Being a Textile Student, I tend to stare at fabrics for a long while, feeling it up and figuring out the material and weaves etc. Yeah, I sure sound like some 'Fabric-Stalker', if that was a mental disorder! :P
The skort is certainly one of the most trendiest things around. And I am so glad to own one now!

I didn't want to keep the look very monotonous, with a tube/crop top, and stick with something usual. So, while creating the look and going through the piles of fabrics in my house, I decided to try something new with fabric draping.
And voila! I managed to make a fitted cut out top! Though pinning it up and tucking it in everywhere possible to hold it, was one messy process!

Would love to know what you think of the look!

I would like to thank the staff at Cafe Mondo, HSR Layout for allowing me to shoot in the pretty cafe and also for being so supportive. :)

This weekend was certainly a beautiful one!
Went out with a few friends yesterday, had an amazing time and then woke up today to find myself on the cover of 'Bangalore Chronicle', Deccan Chronicle's supplement. :D

You can see the article HERE.

And now something that I have been meaning to share with you since forever!
A new collaboration is here!
I am very happy to tell you that Razzle Dazzle Pickle has collaborated

with 'Label Ritu Kumar'! :D
We have planned an interactive in-store activity, where I will be interacting with the customers at the store apart from styling a few of them. And then an outfit post is something that I can never miss!
I have never been so thrilled for any collaboration before, the reason being very obvious that it's Ritu Kumar! I have seen her work and have admired her since my chilhood days! She is surely one of the reasons behind my love for fashion.

Here is a little about the Autumn Winter 2013 Collection by Label Ritu Kumar :

Label by Ritu Kumar presents its Autumn-Winter’13 Collection armed with vibrant colors, beautiful Indian embroidery techniques and flattering silhouettes.

The collection has a range of beautifully crafted garments such as maxi skirts and dresses, jumpsuits and jodhpurs, shift dresses, bright leggings and stylish shirts that are perfect for the contemporary young women of today. Each piece from the collection can effortlessly transition from casual to evening wear in an instant.

The entire collection is all about simple cuts and trendy designs created to make one stand out in a crowd. Colors like orange, aqua blue, red, green, grey, indigo and coral form the base of the garments. Teamed with intricate embroideries and appliqué work, the garments epitomize style.

For the first time Label by Ritu Kumar introduces a glamorous and chic cocktail line replete with evening dresses and gowns highlighted with bejeweled necklines and lace insets.

Another surefire trendsetter this season from Label is a fun and trendy range of printed jodhpurs in jersey and cotton satin lycra.

Some of the chosen pieces such as maxi dresses and skirts are created, keeping in mind the modern young woman who loves fashion as well as comfort. With trendy embroidered jackets in woolen fabric and maxi dresses made in viscose jersey, the collection is a perfect way to amp up the winter wardrobe.

A Sweet Escape

So, I am back from Goa. Chaotic and Wonderful, this is how I would define the trip!
It was a much needed break! My first every trip to Goa, just as I thought the place would be, beautiful! :)
I remember walking back to from this coffee place to the bus stop, the light drizzle, warm coffee in my hand getting colder with each step I took, the dim street lights and the wind on my face, oh, how I wished the walk wouldn't come to an end! Music, food, rain, and the breathtaking scenery, whattay escape it was, wish I could stay longer!

But then in a few days, I will be going to Pondicherry with my lovely classmates to celebrate the last few days and all these years that we have spent together! I am sure it's going to be another memorable trip!
Looking forward to it, very much! :)

Sadly, I made it quite late to the event, and missed Rahul Khanna by a few minutes! Damn it! I broke a few traffic singnals, got caught by a cop as well, all for him! But alas!
I did have a little Twitter interaction with him thought! :D
He is such a humble soul apart from being a very handsome gentleman.

Going to end the post and stop drooling over the pictures, with a determined hope of seeing him soon! :)
