Sweet end post

So, another year has come to an end, a Sweet End! :)

Tomorrow will be a new start, and time to rework on the resolutions that failed.
I have a list of things that I really need to work on. :/

I am off to party, so before that here is a little preview of the upcoming post! =D

Razzle Dazzle Pickle for Cleosara

Recently there was a styling contest held by Cleosara, via StylePile, to style for Cleosara's jewelries.

A few bloggers were asked to style for the same and Razzle Dazzle Pickle was one of them. =D

It was such an exciting assignment!

I was sent 2 pieces, one was this Pendant called 'Penelope', a rectangular one with soft green Mojave stone combined with smooth flint, and the other was 'Jenna' Earrings, disc shaped with Norina beads, both set in Sterling Silver.

I was to style 2 looks for each, all being day look.

For the Pendant, my first look was Black Cropped Pants with a White lace top. I chose the classic combination of Black and white to highlight the soft green pendant, and also keeping in mind the smart and clean look according to cleosara's demands.

The second look was a bright orange dress with a shirt to give it a very casual yet chic look.

For the Earrings, the first look that I created was with this mid length pleated dress with a red belt to break the monotony of the print. Along with the earring the look is all about comfortability and still being gorgeous.

In the second look I am wearing a sheer bird print shirt with black pants, for a very easy day look.

Wooplr Whoopee

Okay, so finally the post about 'The Woopathon' is here.

The event was hosted by 'Wooplr', a website that absolutely is unique and certainly makes shopping social.

It was a gathering of the Fashion Bloggers of Bangalore. 

The first place where we all met each other was at 'Avirate', at the Indira Nagar Store.

The store has a huge collection of Tops, Pants, Dresses and lingerie.

But what just blew my mind off was the accessory section. Such unique and unconventional pieces of jewels, Avirate is full of!

After a lovely introduction session, we took a fine look around the store and picked up a few things that we really liked and had a discussion about the same.

I must admit that I was pretty nervous in the beginning, as it was a first bloggers meet that I was going to attend.

But all of the bloggers and the Wooplr team as well as the store people were so friendly.

After everything was done with, we all were told about this Bliss Lounge, a part of Avirate, right next to the Store.

It was a small cozy place with beautiful interiors and chocolate aroma filled around, only thing that could take off Fashion and Shooping from everybody's mind for a while!

Then we all shifted to The Leather Boutique', another store located quite close to Avirate.

I am not much of a Leather fan, though after visiting the store, I totally am a fan of them in terms of color and design of the products they have.

The store, owned by Zeeshan and Jayanti, has an extensive collection of Jackets, Bags, Envelope bags, footwear and accessories.

All of us shared so much, had a variety of discussions with the wine, video shoot and also the photo shoot with the dramatic props.

We were running late according to the given schedule, given so much we all had to talk about!

So, we moved on to our final stop, Medici, a French-Italian restaurant, again in Indira Nagar. We were welcomed by the Manager and the lovely staff, with a special menu for the day, for us! I am not a foodie at all, but the food in Medici was simply heavenly! 

Cannot wait to visit again.

The kiwi Mocktail, with the Rosemary Scented Chicken and Chocolate fondant, everything was so tempting!

And after this, we called it a day.

The event was surely a success as all the bloggers had such a pleasant time and bonded so well, thanks to Wooplr. :)

Days go by

I have not been getting much time lately, lost my phone, my laptop has given up, too much work in college as the semester gets over in like a month. And then couldn't update my blog because of some technical issue!

And meanwhile, I have thinking a lot about life, how it has changed so much for me, how it has changed me so much, how it changes people, and things and your thinking process. 

It just amuses me how things affect us without even us realising it. And someday in the middle of this journey called life, you stop, take out a moment and look back only to find out that its all so different. 

Well, I have not lost it, just been doing a lot of thinking lately. :P

Anyhow, I took out sometime to get some pictures clicked, and this is what I wore a few days back.

Got this dress from a thrift store, absolutely love the Oriental-ish curves of the ever green Paisley motifs. 

The bag here is quite old, I bought it when I was in the 11th std. I knew it was coming home with me, the moment I set my eyes on it, totally love the print! :D

Teamed it up with my Mirror ring and the Black flat shoes, and my darling Denim shirt for a very 'Take it easy and relaxed' look.

In the second look, I am wearing it with my black cropped jacket, instead of the Denim shirt.
