Wardrobe Audit

Hello people!
I recently did a shoot for this super creative female, also a good friend of mine, Priyanka Lama, a FD student from my college. We did a wardrobe audit thing for an assignment for hers, and so much fun it was! :D
We did like 3 looks, mixed matched stuff out of my wardrobe.  Total messed up my wardrobe was after the hunting, arranging everything is a pain. Aarrgh! :/
But I LOVE PHOTO SHOOTS! Ha, ha. :D
Here are the pictures. =D

And also here are some pictures from her assignment, where she was supposed to use the pictures in an imaginary magazine. Had a good laugh while reading the content (Was on cloud 9 to be frank!) :P

Commedia dell'Arte

I am super duper happy! Because the pictures are out, the pictures of a shoot that I did a couple of months back for my amazing photographer friend, Debjyoti Das.

This shoot was his Internship project, he interned at Yolk Studio, Bangalore, a place run by an excellent photographer 'Sam Mohan' and director 'Kalpana Kumar'.

The reason that I am very excited about it because, a lot of hard work was put into the project by the entire team. The team members : Debjyoti Das (Photographer), Karuna Nagpal (Designer), Abhishek Srivastava (Assistant), Shruti (Model), Ritu Arya (Model), worked straight for almost 15 hours without any break!

And the hard work paid off! Now that Debjyoti is done with the Internship Jury, its time everyone saw the pictures! And here they are! Ta-da! :D

Presenting, Commedia dell'Arte

Check out the beautifully made Making video :

Bib Love.

Hello all.  =D
So, here are a couple of more Bibs I made, as I said in the last post about the same. (Though it was ages back, feel so sad about it. So many things to take care of, I am so sick of a day being of only 24 hours!) :/
Anyway, do not pay attention to me complaining about things, because that I often do. :P

Take a look, and sure would like to hear from you all. :)

A thing called love..

That love is all there is,
Is all we know of love.

- Emily Dickinson

This post is about Love.  All kinds of love, love between lovers, love between friends, parents and the child, the bond that exists between a pet and its master, love that we have for things around us.

It is dedicated to all the important things in my life, as well as little cute things around me which are like an important part of my sorroundings.
I recently lost my pet rabbit named Kuchu, on this Independece Day. Though he was my friend's, he stayed with me. That day was one heack of a depressed one. I would often crib about his stink and him being involved only in eating, not that I did not love him.
But now that he is gone, I truly miss his silent presence around here.

Also, a very good friend of mine is off to Germany and after talking to him just before he boarded the flight made me think, think so much about life. How someone comes in your life, gains your love and liking, becomes an inseparable part and then just like that one day, he/she/it is gone.

I am also referring to things, pretty gifts,  that we love a lot, and no matter where we go, we need it to be there on our bedside table. Hurts when such a thing just breaks into pieces, then the heart does too.
But we tend to forget and move on, we humans.
I am staying away from my family like many others around me, and now and then when I see a girl grabbing her dad's hands tighly while crossing the road, I miss my dad so much, for he has always been there to protect me and made me what I am. I miss my mom now and then, miss her smile, her words, laugh. For nothing is more comfortable than a mother's lap.
So, I decided to take pictures of special and not so important things around me.

"Absence sharpens love, presence strengthens it." - Thomas Fuller

PS : Dedicated to my mom, dad, brother, close friends who are far away, Kuchu and everyone else, for everyone needs love. We live to love.

Pull your socks up!

Hello all! :)
Was just going through my wardrobe and came across the pile of socks in the corner and it made me take a stroll in the past, where in winters, mom used to force me to put some socks on. Hey, I am not complaining!

And now they are so much in trend, no one would have ever thought that these 'almost ignored' things would become so much of a fashion statement!
The long socks ran on runway in 2010, and are still here, getting only better and brighter!
So, pull your socks up girls and get in the the trend race!
