Your Love Is Beautiful

Today is the day of love! 14th Feb. Well, if I get started on what I feel about love and this day and all that jazz, trust me, I might never even stop! :D
All I am going to say is 'Love. Love. Share.'
Love everyday, each one around, make each day Valentine's day! :)

Sharing this poem by the great poet 'Rabindranath Tagore', something that I have meaning to share for quite sometime. :)
Enjoy reading and don't forget to first scroll down and play the song, a song quote close to my heart.

Unending Love

I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times…

In life after life, in age after age, forever.
My spellbound heart has made and remade the necklace of songs,
That you take as a gift, wear round your neck in your many forms,
In life after life, in age after age, forever.

Whenever I hear old chronicles of love, its age-old pain,
Its ancient tale of being apart or together.
As I stare on and on into the past, in the end you emerge,
Clad in the light of a pole-star piercing the darkness of time:
You become an image of what is remembered forever.

You and I have floated here on the stream that brings from the fount.
At the heart of time, love of one for another.
We have played along side millions of lovers, shared in the same
Shy sweetness of meeting, the same distressful tears of farewell-
Old love but in shapes that renew and renew forever.

Today it is heaped at your feet, it has found its end in you
The love of all man’s days both past and forever:
Universal joy, universal sorrow, universal life.
The memories of all loves merging with this one love of ours –
And the songs of every poet past and forever.

Coming to the outfit, I couldn't find anything red in my wardrobe. I sat down for a moment because it was kind difficult to believe. Haha. So I decided to wear Peach, another color representing such feelings. Bought this shirt for 200 bucks, quite a deal right! :D
Teamed it up with this pleated hi lo skirt and black wedges. Donning this old sling bag, which I still one of my favourites. This neck piece worn as a tiara here has been with me for more than 8 years. So, the look is pretty much created with things I have owned for a very long time. Old loves!
Tried my hand at makeup again, and I think I did a pretty good job right! *smugsmile*

Also, don't forget to take part in Romwe Fashion App Survey, only 3 questions about mobile games and each participant can get $10 coupon! :)

Take you chance right now : http://goo.gl/g755Zh

*On till the end of the month. :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Much Love

Give Love

It's Christmas!
I always look forward to this day, each year, for I have some wonderful memories of the beautiful Christmas evenings spent with my family and friends. But this time nothing seems appealing to me, and as I sit and write this, the Christmas tree in the corner of my house fails to brighten my mood.

Because I am trapped in my own mind and these deep thoughts create a commotion that is making me restless. My best friend lost a very good friend day before yesterday. A miserable road accident. Even though I am going along with my regular schedule, it hasn't gone off my mind since I found out. I would hear stories about him all the time, about his jolly behaviour and his kind nature and how he would make everyone laugh. Even though I never had the opportunity to meet him, I have known him so well from these stories told to me by my best friend and a couple of her friends, that it feels like I knew him personally. With the news, the dark memories of losing 2 of my close friends in a similar accident about 4 years back, flashed through my head. Nights have been restless, for emotions have always dominated my mind and nature. Such tragic incidents seem to leave a drastic impact on me. And then I have been thinking, how difficult it must be for these friends and more importantly his family, what a devastating phase. My heart goes out to them.

As they say, Life goes on, it definitely does. But now and then, the absence of these loved ones, causes a heartbreak. And amidst the hustle and bustle of a busy life, you stop and think of them, take a stroll down the memory lane, and wonder how great it would have been if they were still around. Well, Only if life were that easy and kind.

What am I trying to say here is that, take out a moment to express your feelings to the ones you love, and the ones you care about. Life is beautiful but isn't always easy. But we can surely make it better by being kind to each other. A few kind words, a gesture of goodwill, and a lot of love can make life very happy and beautiful.

Give Love On Christmas Day, because Christmas is the day when Jesus Christ was born. Jesus Christ, who taught us to live with peace, harmony and to be kind, and most importantly, to love each other.

Wishing you the timeless treasure of Christmas. The Warmth of home, the love of family, and the company of good friends. Have a blessed and meaningful Christmas.

Never the Old Year ends
But Someone thinks of Someone
Old Days, Old Times, Old Friends"

A thing called love..

That love is all there is,
Is all we know of love.

- Emily Dickinson

This post is about Love.  All kinds of love, love between lovers, love between friends, parents and the child, the bond that exists between a pet and its master, love that we have for things around us.

It is dedicated to all the important things in my life, as well as little cute things around me which are like an important part of my sorroundings.
I recently lost my pet rabbit named Kuchu, on this Independece Day. Though he was my friend's, he stayed with me. That day was one heack of a depressed one. I would often crib about his stink and him being involved only in eating, not that I did not love him.
But now that he is gone, I truly miss his silent presence around here.

Also, a very good friend of mine is off to Germany and after talking to him just before he boarded the flight made me think, think so much about life. How someone comes in your life, gains your love and liking, becomes an inseparable part and then just like that one day, he/she/it is gone.

I am also referring to things, pretty gifts,  that we love a lot, and no matter where we go, we need it to be there on our bedside table. Hurts when such a thing just breaks into pieces, then the heart does too.
But we tend to forget and move on, we humans.
I am staying away from my family like many others around me, and now and then when I see a girl grabbing her dad's hands tighly while crossing the road, I miss my dad so much, for he has always been there to protect me and made me what I am. I miss my mom now and then, miss her smile, her words, laugh. For nothing is more comfortable than a mother's lap.
So, I decided to take pictures of special and not so important things around me.

"Absence sharpens love, presence strengthens it." - Thomas Fuller

PS : Dedicated to my mom, dad, brother, close friends who are far away, Kuchu and everyone else, for everyone needs love. We live to love.
