Another Day

Another day. In a land faraway. All alone. It's difficult for her to go to sleep. Light sleeper she is. Lying on the bed for hours, thinking, for she doesn't have no control over her mind. Tomorrow bothers her. Tomorrow excites her. Keeps her up, this emotional flurry, it won't let her sleep. Not scared of the dark anymore, she stares into the nothingness after the lights go out. Stares and stares while her mind tries to picture things out of the black. Wondering, fearing, dreaming. Not once she could recollect the moment she eventually dozed off to sleep. Wakes up with messy hair, and spends another hour in bed, curled up in a corner, trying to go back to sleep or maybe calm the things on her mind, that have already started to take over like black clouds. A confusion surrounds. This chaos. In mind. In life. Things are perfect. Maybe they just seem to be perfect. Daily chores to be taken care of. People to take care of, the loved ones. Trying hard to strike a balance. A balance between both the worlds, a balance of both modern and traditional ways. In the middle of the run, she stops, stops to gaze into the haze. She seems to be waiting. There is this endless wait, wait for something real, wait for the real happiness maybe? The wait seems to be driving her delirious. But the wait is worth it. It has to be. What is she waiting for? Do you know? Well, you wouldn't for she herself doesn't have any clue. A lot has to be done, a long way to go, because it's just another day.

Your Love Is Beautiful

Today is the day of love! 14th Feb. Well, if I get started on what I feel about love and this day and all that jazz, trust me, I might never even stop! :D
All I am going to say is 'Love. Love. Share.'
Love everyday, each one around, make each day Valentine's day! :)

Sharing this poem by the great poet 'Rabindranath Tagore', something that I have meaning to share for quite sometime. :)
Enjoy reading and don't forget to first scroll down and play the song, a song quote close to my heart.

Unending Love

I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times…

In life after life, in age after age, forever.
My spellbound heart has made and remade the necklace of songs,
That you take as a gift, wear round your neck in your many forms,
In life after life, in age after age, forever.

Whenever I hear old chronicles of love, its age-old pain,
Its ancient tale of being apart or together.
As I stare on and on into the past, in the end you emerge,
Clad in the light of a pole-star piercing the darkness of time:
You become an image of what is remembered forever.

You and I have floated here on the stream that brings from the fount.
At the heart of time, love of one for another.
We have played along side millions of lovers, shared in the same
Shy sweetness of meeting, the same distressful tears of farewell-
Old love but in shapes that renew and renew forever.

Today it is heaped at your feet, it has found its end in you
The love of all man’s days both past and forever:
Universal joy, universal sorrow, universal life.
The memories of all loves merging with this one love of ours –
And the songs of every poet past and forever.

Coming to the outfit, I couldn't find anything red in my wardrobe. I sat down for a moment because it was kind difficult to believe. Haha. So I decided to wear Peach, another color representing such feelings. Bought this shirt for 200 bucks, quite a deal right! :D
Teamed it up with this pleated hi lo skirt and black wedges. Donning this old sling bag, which I still one of my favourites. This neck piece worn as a tiara here has been with me for more than 8 years. So, the look is pretty much created with things I have owned for a very long time. Old loves!
Tried my hand at makeup again, and I think I did a pretty good job right! *smugsmile*

Also, don't forget to take part in Romwe Fashion App Survey, only 3 questions about mobile games and each participant can get $10 coupon! :)

Take you chance right now : http://goo.gl/g755Zh

*On till the end of the month. :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Much Love

Thinking about you, bout us

I am still in the 'Quiet phase', given I have not been getting much time to relax. Never understood why were weekends such a big deal for people, and now after living the office life and travelling for 4-5 hours everyday, I surely do. :P
Yeah, I have complaining too much about the same thing. Well, I absolutely love the work, but then hate the fact that I have no time left in a day to do anything else.

Also, life has been very chaotic lately, emotionally, totally collapsed into it! :/

After all this, still have something to be happy about! The look! :)
And that reminds me, I have been observing a change in my taste lately, like a style evolution in process, ever since I got the haircut! Well, you shall see the change too, hopefully! :)

Color me deep and bright..

Finally, I am home. Its been like a week now, and the boredom has already surrounded me and is making everything sleepy and dark! :/
I mean, no friends, no fun, only tv, food and 'slow as a snail' net connection!
How weird is human nature! When I am busy with college, all I want to do is come home and when I am home I am bored to death! :/

Anyway, today I begged Mumma to take out some time from her 'so called' busy schedule and click some pictures for me. :D
(At this time, I would say, you are dearly missed Debjyoti Das.)

I am wearing this Black 'High-Low' Pleated skirt with a navy blue Vest top. Adding an Ethnic peck to it, are the Golden earrings, the Golden ring and my Yellow Sling bag along with my fav Golden Kolhapuris.
Too much of Golden, eh? :P

And as I have mentioned my love for Turbans and the whole 1940s Headgear thing earlier, here is what I did with one of the stoles, in my Mumma's wardrobe. =)

Totally in love with the Pleated Maxi Skirt. Tell me about your latest love? :)

Till then Keep it dazzling, but do not get into a pickle!
(I just came up with that, cool it is, ain't it?!)
And that reminds I have to put up a post about the story behind my Blog's name. Soon!
xoxo
