Down the Hill

I have this insuppressible urge to travel. I have this dream, a daydream to be particular, where I just imagine myself sitting on a hill top, with nothing but nature around. Valleys, water and fresh air. Staring at this parched dry tree outside my house and the squirrels jumping around, gives me immense happiness. And then I wonder how freaking exciting it would be to be amidst the nature, with no one to disturb and with no other chores or work to be done. Wow!(Read : Sigh)
Well, I think I have to wait for a little bit, to quench this desire.

Also, I realised (not exactly the first time that I have had this feeling) that I need to be a little immodest in life. I happened to visit Forever New Store, which had a Sale going on. And my my. I was almost run over by the swarm of excited women. Not once. Again and again. Freak.

And with all these unmanageable and wild feelings, there is boredom to be dealt with. So, I decided to get back to my hobby of fidgeting with things lying in the house. And the first target was my wardrobe. This hobby has certainly been passed down to me by my mom. I didn't have to dig in much. Discovered (again) a few tops that I hardly use, and which are in a pretty good condition btw. This black t shirt was lying in peace, for more than 2 years now. So here is what I did! Chop. Chop. Paint. Dab. Paint. And Voila! :D
Finally some use of the zillion textures I made during the painful modules in college. :D

And now that I have finished writing, I see I have spoken about quite a lot of things in a single post. Don't blame me for the randomness. There is something crazy in the air around me.

Every Whisper

Festival Season is here! The most celebrated festivals of India, Dussherah and Diwali, surely a golden period for all the shopaholics, as the market is filled with new exciting offers and new ranges of clothing and accessories etc, exclusively designed for this fun filled season.
I am sure you all have already started planning on the gifts and clothes for the same.

Well, I certainly have! And I have put together this look here that represents the style of clothing I am going to stick with.
In the season of festivals when it gets all chaotic and messy while decorating the house, running errands, you need to wear something that is trendy and yet not difficult to handle. I am wearing this Navy Blue Maxi Skirt with side slits, an absolute epitome of comfort clothing.
Teamed it up with a basic full sleeve black T shirt. Have tucked in the bottom of the top, an attmept to give a touch of the Indian Ethnic Wear.
When it comes to Footwears, I am kolhapuri person, anyday! Wearing these studded kolhapuris here, which is very different from the regular ones and yet very comfortable just like regular ones.
Adding a touch of bling to my look and breaking the monotony of the dark colors here is this gorgeous emerald colored pendant which I have been meaning to wear since forever. A mishmash of colors is created as I am wearing a few bangles and bracelets, mostly of different and bright colors. Carrying this (almost) structured bag which is spacious enough to carry all the things that you need to!

One thing that is a must in the festive season, Red Lipstick. Wearing my favorite shade of red here, it acts as an instant mood birghtener for me!

Top : Blue, Bangalore
Skirt : Sher Singh (Myntra)
Pendant : No Strings Attached by Manat and Prachi
Bangles and Bracelets : Toniq Accessories
Footwear : Westside Store
Bag : Red Herring (Debenhams)
Lip Color: 'Hot Hot Hot' by Colorbar

I created this festive look for 'Eclectic Northeast'.

And now, talking about the post , another Casual Outfit Post!
I wore this to Blush, like a week back. And in case you do not know about Blush, it's a series of exciting parties, by Plugg Fashion every Friday, that along with being fun also inspires & celebrates the Women of Today! Hosted by the pretty lady Tamanna Pasha, along with a special lady each time!

I totally look forward to this event every week! Maybe you guys could join me this coming Friday! :D

Getting back to the look, I am wearing this printed crop top from Max, with my favorite pair of jeans, which, you will see in the pictures, needs a little break now! :P

Accessorized it with my current obsession, the golden cuff and a golden ring. Also carrying this lovely colored bag I recently purchased.

I took out a little time today to get this outfit clicked while working as a stylist for a shoot, with my photographer.
Cannot wait to share the pictures with you guys! :)

Taking you the outfit pictures now, do tell me what you think of the look!
