Melissa Corsari for Razzle Dazzle Pickle

I have always been very fascinated by different kinds of Fashion Illustrations, done by different artists, with each one portraying a unique style. It's something that I intend to be good at and sadly I am still working on that! :D

 And it was very delighting when Melissa Corsari, a talented Fashion Illustrator from Italy got in touch for a collaboration and offered to do an illustration of one of my pictures. Melissa has been interested in drawings since she was a kid, and she worked on what she enjoys and also went to an art school to strengthen her skills. Her main focus is on Female figure because she thinks women embody a kind of beauty that is special and unique. She takes inspiration from Tv fashion shows, runways, magazines, music videos and artists from the past.

Connect with her on Facebook : Fashion Illustrations by MC

And I am super excited to present to you this artwork done by her.
Thank you so much Melissa, this is super cute, I absolutely adore it! :)

I Can Hear You Dreaming

Another random thought. From another random conversation with friends. Ever wondered what is Life about? What is all this hubbub about? What do we live for? What is the purpose of Life? Certain things make us happy, a few don't, why? Why follow the rules? What makes us happy? Why/How do we trust? Why do we instantly connect with someone, and why sometimes ages go by trying to do so? Why do we dream?
Just another random thought. And a never ending list of 'Why' and 'How' and 'What'. Fueled by the thoughts in my head, the thoughts that never get tired. They never want to sleep. Or let me sleep. Another random thought.

Quick outfit post. Wearing this comfy Dollar Print Vest with black Jeggings, paired with Boots. Red brightens up this casual look, and breaks the Black n White monotony.

Your Love Is Beautiful

Today is the day of love! 14th Feb. Well, if I get started on what I feel about love and this day and all that jazz, trust me, I might never even stop! :D
All I am going to say is 'Love. Love. Share.'
Love everyday, each one around, make each day Valentine's day! :)

Sharing this poem by the great poet 'Rabindranath Tagore', something that I have meaning to share for quite sometime. :)
Enjoy reading and don't forget to first scroll down and play the song, a song quote close to my heart.

Unending Love

I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times…

In life after life, in age after age, forever.
My spellbound heart has made and remade the necklace of songs,
That you take as a gift, wear round your neck in your many forms,
In life after life, in age after age, forever.

Whenever I hear old chronicles of love, its age-old pain,
Its ancient tale of being apart or together.
As I stare on and on into the past, in the end you emerge,
Clad in the light of a pole-star piercing the darkness of time:
You become an image of what is remembered forever.

You and I have floated here on the stream that brings from the fount.
At the heart of time, love of one for another.
We have played along side millions of lovers, shared in the same
Shy sweetness of meeting, the same distressful tears of farewell-
Old love but in shapes that renew and renew forever.

Today it is heaped at your feet, it has found its end in you
The love of all man’s days both past and forever:
Universal joy, universal sorrow, universal life.
The memories of all loves merging with this one love of ours –
And the songs of every poet past and forever.

Coming to the outfit, I couldn't find anything red in my wardrobe. I sat down for a moment because it was kind difficult to believe. Haha. So I decided to wear Peach, another color representing such feelings. Bought this shirt for 200 bucks, quite a deal right! :D
Teamed it up with this pleated hi lo skirt and black wedges. Donning this old sling bag, which I still one of my favourites. This neck piece worn as a tiara here has been with me for more than 8 years. So, the look is pretty much created with things I have owned for a very long time. Old loves!
Tried my hand at makeup again, and I think I did a pretty good job right! *smugsmile*

Also, don't forget to take part in Romwe Fashion App Survey, only 3 questions about mobile games and each participant can get $10 coupon! :)

Take you chance right now : http://goo.gl/g755Zh

*On till the end of the month. :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Much Love

Water Of Life

So today I have made a small list of things that will help you lift up your mood/look! :)

* Lipstick.
Red lipstick, or maybe Pink for those who think red is too loud. I have timelessly mentioned what hot red lipstick does to my face and mood. Instant mood brightener it is! :)

* Compact powder.
I am not a big fan of everyday makeup, (maybe because I don't know much about it. :P)
But each time my face starts to look dull, compact really helps. Make sure you use the right one according to your skin tone.

* Refreshing Perfume.
There is nothing better than this one. Carry around your favorite perfume/deodorant. For fragrance awakens all the senses. Buy miniatures maybe, handy to put it in your handbag.

* Chocolate
Do I really need to talk about this! It is certainly one common mood enhancer.

* Music
An extraordinary mood enhancer, never fails. I cannot imagine life without music! Have you ever thought how we have tracks for each mood/situation that we go through in our daily lives? So whenever you feel low, just push the button! :D

So, this it it for now. Taking you the look now. Hope you enjoyed reading and will enjoy going through the pictures too. :)

Last year was quite wonderful as I worked with some of the coolest brands/names etc. One of them was Bhane.
I was invited to be a part of the shoot that took place in Bangalore.
Such a wonderful team full of lovely people! :)

See the picture here if you haven't. (Yeah, I do look a little funny.) :P

And they were too kind to send me this chic top that I don on the website. I paired it with these distressed denims. Looks that I create very much depends on the mood that I am in, while planning the same. I have this weakness for Indian Ethnic, could just wear these pretty bangles and bindis each day. Oh yes, quite obsessed with Bindis lately. So, I decided to put on these neon sandals and stole and add a touch of Indianness with a bindi and bangles and jhumkas! I very much like how the look turned out to be. Adding the finishing touch to the look is the neon orange nail paint with the lip color.
