This is certainly one of the projects that I am really enjoying and also very excited about.
It's Ritu Kumar after all, and I will not get tired of mentioning the fact that she is one of the few reasons that inspired me to get into the design field, apart from the creative genes that I get from my mother. :P
Last week, I was invited to their store in Orion Mall, to take a look at the latest collection and a little chit chat over coffee!
The collection is armed with vibrant colors, beautiful Indian embroidery techniques and flattering silhouettes. It has maxi skirts and dresses, jumpsuits and jodhpurs, shift dresses, bright leggings and stylish shirts that are perfect for the contemporary young women of today. The entire collection is all about simple cuts and trendy designs created to make one stand out in a crowd. Colors like orange, aqua blue, red, green, grey, indigo and coral form the base of the garments.
I tried a few tops from the collection, and loved how it fitted the body so well. Like it was just made for me. The collection is just the right blend of Fashion + Comfort.
I also picked up a few garments to shoot, which I got done with yesterday! A little more patience for those pictures! Thought I am much restless already! Haha! :)
Must mention that the staff at the store are just so helpful and well mannered. And the Regional Manager, Ms. Sabina, such a wonderful woman she is, she has been so cooperative since the beginning!
I will take you to the pictures from the In store activity now, enjoy! :)

Hidden rhythms in the rivers run
Blinding beats in the desert sun
Hear them today, play all as one
The distant voices in the far off sky
Led us to the elusive prize
Even today, we testify
I hear voices beneath the sky...
Here are some clicks from my recent trip to Pondicherry and Auroville, with my classmates. I am going to let you enjoy the pictures and not say much, for pictures of moments speak more than words! :)
Thanks to my lovely classmates, Anshu, Lisa, Trina, Natasha, Oindrilla and Sidhartha for the pictures! :)
