Today was my first day at work with Elle Fashionwear India, pretty good but tiring, one of the reasons for not talking much! Hope you enjoy the pictures, would love to what you think.

Along This Road

And while I sit down and think about something to write about, something that would interest you readers, I can't think of anything. Really can't. I am blank. While in my mind there is a commotion going on. As usual. Only this time, there are more thoughts floating around.

So I thought why not tell you a few of these! :P

About the outfit, wearing this mint color sweater from Persunmall. The color instantly uplifts your mood, and the soft feel of the sweater makes it a pretty number.
Paired it with these distressed denims that fit so well. I have never been a fan of tattered denims in the past, but have been totally obsessed with them lately.
While going through my old pictures I realised how much I love head scarfs, and experimenting with the same. One of a few things I stopped doing with time, so here, I decided to do something with my fav polka dotted scarf. The school satchel, black wedges, bracelets and the ring, all come together to create a very free spirited look.

Make Your Way

There comes a phase when you start to let go of things, (or at least try), when you realise the importance of time and other tiny things in life.
Well, I am definitely there, could be because I am growing old now. :P
I have been very busy, random, outgoing, lately, since a few days, or maybe months I would say.

So today I am making a list of things that you should start doing in order to enjoy your life to the fullest. Hope you enjoy reading! :)

* Love Yourself.

* Dress up everyday, world seems even more beautiful.

* Be Random, be spontaneous, have fun!

* Spend more time with people that you usually don't hang out with, you will discover new friends.

* Make sudden plans, and go for it!

* Go out, find new places, meet new people.

* Say what you have in your mind/heart, just say it! That moment is never going to come back, ever!

* Do what you feel like, of course something that wouldn't hurt someone in anyway, or damage things. (Rational-Irrational Balance)

* Thank each and everyone, who does something for you, be it anyone, from a waiter to your friends/family, everyone.

* Exercise regularly, something that I have been trying to fit into my erratic routine. You will start to love yourself.

* Be kind to everyone around, forgive and love, life is too unpredictable.

* Give free fashion advice to people, without offending them! Haha.

* Never regret anything that you did, you did it because you wanted to, right!

 * Apologize when you know it's your mistake.

*  Enjoy music, music is indeed the best medicine.

* Dance or join self defense classes, makes you confident.

* Read, read and read, you get to learn so much.

* Love your Parents and Siblings, they have done a lot for you and they are always going to be there for you.

* Thank the universe for keeping you safe and happy. Show gratitude.

All this that I write here is something that I do or have been trying to do and incorporate in my life, very simple things, but then something that we all forget to do often. :)

This entire ensemble is created with pretty things from Myntra
Wearing this gorgeous Maxi Dress which is just so Fairy Tale like. Given that I put comfort first, I absolutely love Maxi dresses, so relaxed and gorgeous at the same time!
The dress here has studded stones on the shoulder strap which makes it a perfect evening wear. Paired it with t strap flats, that are so gracious and easy going. It goes with almost everything, jeans to skirts to dresses. These gorgeous bead earrings with silver danglings finish my look here.
Tried something new with my hair, isn't really visible in the pictures. :P
This is one of my favourite looks so far, for it's got a lot of things I love, Black, Maxi Dress, Dangling Earrings, Stones, Flats etc.

It's Time

Time Flies! Yes, I always think of it, every day, each and every day. I am sure even you find yourself in such situations when you look back and wonder the same. It's November already, another year is just around the corner. This time, this moment, this age, these friends, this lifestyle, all this won't be the same after sometime. Sure there are better and happier things to look forward to, but then it makes me sad that the only way to relive the past would be a stroll down the memory lane.
It was just yesterday that I joined college, made these new friends and discovered new things in life. I have stayed away from home since my 11th std, which somehow made me quite strong, but then there is nothing like college. College is the time when you discover yourself, learn things about yourself, others, life etc. These years have surely been a lesson in life, a very good one. Cultural's in the final year here is the time when all these thoughts come rushing in your head. Looking at the juniors and the batchmates and the teachers dancing along with them, you realise the bond that holds everyone, which keeps getting deeper and stronger each year. I have been through quite a few ups and downs during these college years, and thank god for these lovely people I have around me, who would never let me down and always make my life easier.

I am dedicating this post to all my friends and acquaintances in college and each batch mate. Would like to thank them for being so wonderful and kind to me and to each other. This journey which has almost come to an end, was beautiful and memorable and I shall hold these memories in my heart, forever and ever!

Also, I wish you all much happiness and luck and love in the future.

Coming to the look, this is what I wore for the Cultural's. Had been planning the ensemble for quite sometime.
I LOVE Indian ethnic, have said that on Facebook like a zillion times by now. This festive season is something that I really look forward to, for the same reason. Picked this ready made blouse from Commercial Street, hectic hunt I must mention. Being a textile student, I often visit RC Puram where one can find all kinds of fabrics and garments too. During my last visit I found this left over piece from the saree roll, which I bought for a very good price. Finally made a skirt out of it, after all the waiting. I chose this flourescent green dupatta to brighten up the entire ensemble, attached these pretty tassels to tone down the color. Wearing my comfy studded kolhapuris, which I just do not want to stop using. Oh, did I tell you how easy it is to make a bindi with the liqid eyeliner! :D

Complementing the entire look are these gorgeous earrings from Mjuri. This lovely senior of mine, Namrata Patel owns the brand, was too kind to gift me two pairs from her collection. The earring are crafted out of brass sheets and has a few drop down chain links and tear drop shaped discs. I somehow love the sweet noise it makes and not to mention that these easily go with any western attire too!

Here is a little about the brand :

Mzuri was born out of the love for design and detail to bring a collection that's perfect for the new-age nomad. Crafted by talented artisans from Kenya, the collection focuses on a motto of giving you 100% handmade products. Each piece carries a story to tell and takes inspiration from a rich cultural diversity. Young and contemporary, each design is evolved and crafted to present you with a profound respect and need to value a diminishing art. The Mzuri collection stays true to it's name, by giving you something 'beautiful' today.
